MEET HUNI

Despite where her personal beliefs may fall, Sha’Huni (often referred to as “Huni” – pronounced like honey) has always had a keen ability to “see all sides” of complex situations. Although it took her a while to view this seemingly inconvenient predisposition as the gift that it really is, she believes it is valuable in the world of litigation and that it equips her with an intuitive, wholesome, and strategic vision.

Sha’Huni founded Huni Norman, LLC with the sole intention of helping litigators, trial lawyers, and litigation stakeholders achieve a well-rounded perspective of the facts in their case. Rooted in principles she believes are key to litigating consciously, she focuses her business on equipping attorneys with the information they need to make calculated decisions that aide toward case resolution.

Sha’Huni first discovered her love for all things trial by competing in high school and intercollegiate mock trial. Although a legal simulation, mock trial gave Sha’Huni a solid foundational understanding of what goes into analyzing case documents, developing a strong case theory, and implementing trial strategy. She has since had significant actual experience working as a paralegal in high-profile catastrophic personal injury civil litigation and mass tort civil litigation for Plaintiffs. She finds fulfillment in doing good work for those wrongfully harmed. Having been on the other side of assessing the value of Defense cases, she has found that she is also defense-minded (where warranted) and is genuinely interested in working with both (really all) sides of the courtroom.

Sha’Huni has particular interest in the following practice areas: general negligence, catastrophic personal injury, premises liability, dram shop liability, product liability, drugs and medical devices, birth injury medical malpractice, DWI/DUI accidents, commercial vehicle accidents, sexual assault and abuse, and wrongful death cases. Highly curious and of a self-taught mentality, Sha’Huni welcomes inquiries from all across the civil litigation spectrum.

Outside of Huni Norman, LLC, Sha’Huni enjoys long walks in nature, indulging in a good novel, spending time with friends and family, and philosophizing about life, relationships, psychology, spirituality, human nature, and legal/political theory. She is a proud wife and mother, and lives with her husband, Tre, and little one in Dallas, Texas.
